Frequently Asked Questions
Who can take lessons at KDH Productions?
+Anyone! We teach music lovers of all ages—children through adults, complete beginners through advanced students. Whether you're exploring a new instrument, preparing for performance, or advancing your skills, we have a program for you.
What if I don't have an instrument?
+We can discuss instrument options during your first consultation. For piano, our studio accommodates students. For other instruments, we can recommend affordable options or discuss rental possibilities. Don't let lack of an instrument hold you back!
How do I pay for lessons?
+For monthly programs, tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. We accept checks (payable to KDH PRODUCTIONS), cash, and Cash App ($kdhproductions). A $10 late fee applies if payment is received after the 15th of the month.
What's your make-up lesson policy?
+A maximum of three (3) make-up lessons are given per year. Make-up lessons must be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe. No refunds are given for missed lessons due to no-show, lack of transportation, personal activities, sports, oversleeping, or forgetfulness.
How do I book my first lesson?

Can I switch programs or cancel?
+Yes. If you need to change programs, contact us to discuss options. Cancellations should be made in writing as far in advance as possible. Non-payment by month end may result in cancellation of your reserved time slot.
What styles of music can I learn?
+We teach classical, folk, gospel, traditional, and contemporary styles. Whether you want to learn classical piano, gospel vocals, contemporary guitar, church hymns, or pop music, we customize instruction to your interests and goals.
Studio Policies
We're committed to providing excellent instruction and a professional learning environment. Here are our key policies:
📍 Location & Timing
Lessons are held at our home studio in O'Fallon, Missouri. Students are asked to arrive promptly. Sessions proceed on schedule, and tardiness may result in shortened lesson time.
🗓️ Holiday Schedule
KDH Productions observes four holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Memorial Day. Monthly tuition is prorated when you receive three lessons due to holidays.
✅ Attendance
Consistent attendance is expected. Maximum 3 make-up lessons per year. Missed lessons due to no-show, personal reasons, or oversleeping are not refundable.
💳 Payment
Tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. Late payment (after 15th) incurs a $10 fee. Non-payment by month-end may result in cancellation of your slot.
🎵 Instruments
Students should have access to an instrument for practice between lessons. Discuss instrument options during your first consultation.
